Carnival at the ROM

Dazzling colour and vibrant displays of Carnival welcome you and the kids this Family Day Weekend! Experience artifact touch tables and scavenger hunts that help tell the stories and history of Carnival traditions from around the world. Enjoy drumming performances and workshops, make your own Carnival inspired mask and have your face painted.  Wrap up the weekend, make some noise and join the celebration for the ROM Carnival Parade – 3 PM Monday, February 18!

AGO become the “KGO” (Kids Art Gallery of Ontario!)

The Gallery offers a family-friendly art-making extravaganza featuring the creation of a day-long exhibition by kids entitled Kid Nouveau. The iconic red AGO on the building’s exterior will be creatively reworked to reflect its temporary name change, “KGO”. Kids attending the event (included in the price of admission) will be encouraged to channel their inner artists through activities co-programmed with Bunch Family Inc.

Casa Loma – Tea Time for Teddy Bear

Can you imagine anything more enchanting than bringing your Teddy Bear to Casa Loma for tea time and story telling?  Following a reading of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, everyone will enjoy a freshly baked scone, jam and tea or hot chocolate while the children decorate their own bear-shaped cookies.
